Robots Don´t cry

"I love oxymorons, made of two opposing words, two opposite feelings. This track is a mirror of that. I use the Mellotron a lot in this piece, such a great instrument, a mechanical device but with a human quality VR eating sounds like some audio remains of the past. I recorded this track only once, I did everything - the melody and the rhythm-track - in one go. I love the idea that technology can provide emotion, even though technology is not linked to the notion that it can actually provide emotion. Robots or Artificial Intelligence are just machines without any contradicting emotions so far. They might not be able to work as efficiently should they have emotions. But who knows, one day maybe, robots will experience nostalgia."

Los robots no lloran

Me encantan los oxymorons, hechos de dos palabras opuestas, dos sentimientos opuestos. Esta pista es un espejo de eso. Utilizo mucho el Mellotron en esta pieza, un instrumento tan genial, un dispositivo mecánico pero con una calidad VR humana que suena como si se tratara de restos de audio del pasado. Grabé esta pista solo una vez, hice todo - la melodía y la pista de ritmo - de una sola vez. Me encanta la idea de que la tecnología puede proporcionar emoción, aunque la tecnología no esté vinculada a la noción de que realmente puede proporcionar emoción. Los robots o la inteligencia artificial son solo máquinas sin emociones contradictorias hasta ahora. Es posible que no puedan trabajar tan eficientemente si tienen emociones. Pero quién sabe, tal vez algún día, los robots experimentarán nostalgia.
